My hardtop is leaking water, can you help?Updated 6 months ago

If you are experiencing excessive water ingress in your hardtop, this usually means there is a problem, and the hardtop isn't functioning as it should. A water test can help find out the source of the leaking, and if it's an issue with a failed seal or component, we can help sort that out. Below is a guide for performing a simple and straightforward water test:

Step 1 - make sure the vehicle is on a flat surface

Step 2 - using a hose on its lightest spray setting, immerse the hardtop completely in water. You'll need assistance for this step, as someone will need to be looking inside the hardtop, reporting how water is gaining entry to the load space

Step 3 - if water is getting in, how is it doing so? Is there a seal where the water ingress is happening, that may have perished? Are the clamps tight enough? Is there a hole somewhere that is difficult to spot with the eye?

Please note: a hardtop or any other load bed cover we offer does not make the load bed 100% watertight. There are too many gaps in the load bed itself for us to be able to guarantee that one of our covers will keep all water out unfortunately.
