What is the maximum weight I can carry on the roof of my hardtop?Updated 8 months ago

A Truckman hardtop can carry up to 300kg on its roof. To utilise this capacity, we recommend adding a set of Rhino Kammbar cross bars. 

If your Truckman hardtop is carpet lined on the interior or doesn't have any lining at all, these bars can easily be added by drilling through the roof and fitting the spread plates supplied in the kit.

If your Truckman hardtop is vinyl lined, the bars can still be fitted but they need to be installed by our engineers on site at Truckman HQ Dudley. Contact us and we can give more information about this service, quote a price and book an appointment.

If your Truckman hardtop has front to back "roof rails" - these need to be removed to install the Kammbar system. The system can use at least two of the pre-drilled holes where these rails were fitted to reduce further modification to your hardtop as much as possible.
